History and Uniqueness of Anyer Lighthouse
One of the main attractions of Anyer Beach is the Cikoneng Lighthouse, also known as the King Willem Lighthouse.
This lighthouse was first built in 1806, but was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Krakatoa in 1883. The lighthouse was then rebuilt in 1885 by order of King Willem II of the Netherlands.
75.5 meters high, this lighthouse offers spectacular views from its summit. To reach it, you have to conquer around 280 steps.
